Too Much Activity

I'm not looking forward to tonight. I'll be heading out in about thirty minutes to get to work on time, because we all know that I'm on thin ice with the management. Anyway, tonight should be interesting seeing that it's Harry Potter night, but none of the festivities start until nine o'clock. And we won't sell the book until midnight.

6:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m. There's my shift. Long shift, but it should go quickly seeing how everybody goes crazy for these damn books. And I have yet to read the one Nessa loaned to me. I'd rather watch the movies...

Jason's already complaining about his twenty-four hour shifts at Georgia EMS. But....he knew that going into the job so my sympathy is on the slim side. I continuously tell him that he'll get used to the hours and not to quit.

We slept all afternoon yesterday. Actually, I slept all afternoon. He slept all damn day...but I guess his body needed it. Except that it left me up until three this morning with my mind wandering...where am I going to find another and better job? When are we going to have enough money for our apartment? When are we going to move into the apartment?.......eh....

I'm going to read some before I change clothes and head out the door.
